About Liberty, KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
The town of Liberty was founded after Revolutionary War veterans. They used their military grants and named the town out of patriotic sentiment for their beloved nation. In 1808, it was made the seat of Casey County. It is a small and lovely town full of hard-working and friendly people. Seasonal weather and mountain vistas make for some beautiful scenery in the area and the locals are always excited to welcome visitors and friends. You will have no trouble finding someone to recommend a spot to fish or to give you advice on the best local eateries.
The welcoming and friendly community is family-focused and totally kid-friendly. For example, Casey County is home to yearly Casey County Apple Festival. This street festival is a 40 year tradition dating back to the 70s. The "Best Festival in Kentucky" is held each autumn. All weekend, the town has a festive and delightful ambience. The courthouse square and down Middleburg Street is recreated into a carnival ground with food, fun and friends. The cool autumn weather conditions provide the ideal atmosphere for a charming weekend in town. It is something that everyone in the area looks forward to and when it finally comes it is quite the affair. Everyone is eating, drinking and being merry.
But, there is no alcohol at the festival because Casey County is a dry county. This is an attractive feature to some parents who desire their families to live in in a secure and calm setting. But, anyone who knows anything about Kentucky knows about the citizen’s love for the state’s silky, delectable whiskey. It’s the kind that you use to make yourself a drink to keep you warm on a frosty winter’s night. Residents who do still want to drink are, of course, not without options. They just need to leave the county to get their alcohol.
