My father Harold Smith was an electrician. I grew up going out to jobs with him doing residential electrical work. By the time I was 14 I could wire a house and do troubleshooting. When I married, I started a business of my own as Smith Electric. Soon afterward having seen the increase in houses with central air conditioning, I began doing HVAC and became Smith Electric HVAC Inc.

Over the years we have gravitated toward the HVAC portion. We now concentrate on HVAC but have a firm background in electrical to do any installation or alteration necessary to install or service your HVAC system. We hold KY Licensing for Master Contractor and Journeyman installation.
