History

Smith Electric HVAC, Inc. has been serving south central Kentucky since 1975. From the start, our family owned and operated business has been based on our Christian principles of honesty, integrity, and honest work for honest pay. This has earned us a reputation as the company that does it "The Right Way."

We are proud of several achievements and awards. We have twice won Koch Air's dealer of the year award, once in 2004 and again in 2007. We became a Koch Air Blue Ribbon Dealer in 1998. We maintained that status until it was replaced in 2005 when we became a CARRIER FACTORY AUTHORIZED dealer, the first year that authorization was available. Less than 20% of CARRIER dealers nationwide achieve that status. Our commitment to the environment is reflected by several Top Performer Puron Sales awards from as far back as 2000. These recognize our sales of units utilizing the environmentally friendly PURON (R-410A) refrigerant. PURON may be new to some, but not to us. Our awards for Comfort Heat and Infinity sales reflect our commitment to installing comfort and not just heating and cooling. Our Awards for parts sales proves our commitment to service, and our Outstanding Commitment to Excellence award (2005) speaks for itself.
